Tours with an Old City Resident: Bringing History Alive For the last 14 years, I have been living in the Old City; breathing its scents, discovering its alleyways, and davening at its holiest spots. My daily grind made me into an Old City expert. Growing up in New York, I never cared for history. To me, history was reserved for museums and class trips. Moving to the epicenter of the world transformed the way I look at history. I discovered history that came to life, because it is the history of my life, OUR life.
